According to\u00a0ABC News<\/em>\u00a0, the New York City Medical Examiner\u2019s Office, respecting the decision of the late actress\u2019s family, could not determine the cause of Michelle Trachtenberg\u2019s death. Currently, her cause and manner of death are announced as \u201cundetermined.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier, after the initial investigation, the police said there were no signs of foul play related to the Hollywood actress\u2019s death. According to police sources, Michelle underwent a liver transplant last year and may have experienced complications.<\/p>\n

Michelle Trachtenberg was found \u201cunresponsive\u201d by her mother at 8 a.m. Wednesday in her apartment at One Columbus Place, a 51-story luxury condominium on Manhattan\u2019s Central Park South. When police and paramedics arrived, they determined that Michelle had died.<\/p>\n

According to\u00a0People<\/em>\u00a0, Michelle\u2019s friends revealed that she had been ill for months and the actress had told them about her health struggles. The source said Michelle was \u201cdevastated\u201d as she faced health issues that she did not share publicly. She had worried fans when she looked thin and pale in photos posted on Instagram a year ago.<\/p>\n
